"I must go down to the seas again..."




I discovered photography aged 11 when I was given a Kodak Instamatic to record a school trip to France.

I was hooked from that moment - reading everything I could about the art of the latent image and putting it into practice at every opportunity.


Fully self-taught - learning about f stops, ISO and composition.

Fast forward to now - digital along with Lightroom make the process much quicker, but no less satisfying. I will still use film for as long as it is available though as it makes you think and slows you down.

I moved to Somerset in 2018.

I have loved the West Country all my life and anyone who visits will have indelible memories etched in their mind.

Exmoor is my happy place, where dramatic landscapes meet stunning coast.
